Intensive learning for immediate results/Deployment Preparation

What is the Intensive Program?     

The DC Internationals MESALI daily daytime, afternoon, and evening courses seriously prepare individuals with real concrete goals to develop language skills in a short time frame. These courses condense two semesters of college courses into ten weeks. They are an integral part of preparation for work overseas, and or to expedite language skills with new family or friends.   

The DC Internationals MESALI intensive daytime and afternoon programs are designed to accommodate those interested in learning the maximum amount of a particular language before deployment with an NGO, multilateral organization, branch of the military, and or government agency.

Class Size

The intensive classes typically have 4 - 6 students -- small enough to ensure plenty of feedback and instruction for every student, but big enough to keep classes stimulating.

The exact start date may be shifted slightly to best accommodate the scheduling needs / deployment requirements of those who enroll. This will be coordinated between MESALI's staff and the students during registration.

How Much Class Time?

90 hours of class time over 10 weeks.

Textbooks: 

May be purchased at the time of registration or at MESALI before or on the first day of class.    

Registration:

To register, fill out the registration form and be sure to include cash, check, or money-order. Online registration is not offered for the intensive classes.

Registration is on a first come first served basis; a minimum of four students are required for a class to be held.
