DC Internationals is proud to offer Urdu V- a ten week intensive, non-credit course that’s designed to teach advanced Urdu through immersion, fun and humor.

Academic Goals

The course is designed for students who have completed three semesters of Urdu, and will teach more advanced elements of grammar, including
the main verb tenses, conversation and reading and writing, with vocabulary, grammatical explanations, and exercises.

The textbook used for the class is “Teach Yourself Urdu” by David Mathews and Mohamed Kasim Dalvi (2010 edition), which is available in local bookstores and online. The instructor will also provide additional handouts for use in class and as homework.

By the end of the semester, you can expect to have an intermediate level in reading, writing and speaking skills.
