Do Good Adventures Presents
Volunteer Vacations
Visit New Orleans: Meaningful and Fun this Memorial Day Weekend.
Over 50% of this experience is tax deductible
Build awareness of similar social issues nationwide
Do Good Adventures, the adventure travel group that is known for crafting unique volunteer vacations has a special one planned for this Memorial Day Weekend. Enjoy the culturally authentic, sensory experience of this enchanting city. Hear live music, eat beignet and enjoy the markets. At the same time, you will have an opportunity to do some good work in the rebuilding of a city that still has tons of work to be done, years after Katrina. We have an amazing itinerary planned with the community while we are there.. during the day working hand in hand with a community that has been forgotten, learning the New Orleans cuisine as we prepare food for the homeless and school children. Pulitzer Prize winning authors to accompany us at various projects, participation in gospel service and  Friday Night service at a synagogue and a Gospel Church service   In addition, we'll take in the music and festivities at night with special venues for dancing, music and more.
Through this experience we hope that participation will be the start or boost to return home with openness to the tackle some of the community building issues that impacted the most while you are there. Have an impact while having fun!

Volunteer In Tanzania: Use French, Arabic
Home to perhaps the greatest natural diversity in Africa, it's the ideal place for wildlife spotting with Africa's second largest number of bird species, the continent's biggest mammal population and three-quarters of East Africa's plant species – all of which means volunteering in Tanzania is ideal for people interested in conservation. However, due to the widespread poverty that plagues the country there are opportunities to volunteer with children in Tanzania and work with grass-roots community projects.  You will be based in StoneTown, the cultural center of Zanzibar, known for its narrow alleys, bustling bazaars, mosques and extravagant houses of the Arab elite. Stone Town is so fantastic that it was even declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A TEFL certificate is included in your placement fee so that you can make the most of your experience from day one.

Volunteer Vacation: India
Travel in India and prepare yourself for a truly unique experience in the second largest nation on the planet. From Kashmir and the Himalayan plateau in the far North West, to the Kolkata and the Brahmaputra Delta in the West and on down to Kanyakumari and the holy confluence of the oceans at the Southern Cape; India is a country of startling contrasts and exquisite variations. If you decide to travel to India it’ll be the kind of experience you’ll never forget.
Despite the country's great natural wealth and a recent economic upturn, more than 250 million people live below the poverty line and evidence of this can be seen on every street corner. This is why people are needed to volunteer in India and help some of the people that the global economy all too often leaves behind.
